The spotting of the listing of the Honor X10 on the popular benchmarking platform follows the company’s post which also revealed some of the phone’s key features.
We are less than two weeks away from the purported announcement of the Honor X10, and folks at HUAWEI’s sub-brand are on all fours now hyping up its release.
Kirin 820 5G chip with 8GB of RAM
Ahead of its impending launch, the Honor X10 has finally paid its visit on Geekbench. The phone, which bears the codename Huawei TEL-AN00, is revealed to have generated a score of 3,084 points in the single-core test, while its multi-core test scores 9,128 points.
The Honor 10X is also seen toting around Google’s latest Android 10.0 OS. Additionally, the device is packing HUAWEI’s HiSilicon Kirin SoC with a base frequency of 1.84GHz, which is tipped to be the Kirin 820 5G chipset. The phone is also seen coupled with an 8GB of RAM.
Some of these listed features were already confirmed previously by Honor’s VP, who revealed through Weibo, that the phone would indeed arrive with the said Kirin chipset. With this in tow, the SoC is reportedly bringing support for dual-mode 5G over nine frequency bands.
Apart from its versatile 5G capabilities, Honor is also gearing up the X10 as a 5G-enabled device for the masses. Without going for the obvious, the phone could very well arrive at an affordable price point. This also besides the speculation that the phone could be usable outside the Chinese market.
Other rumored key features
Fortunately, we wouldn’t need to guess about the Honor X10’s other crucial features. This is all thanks to its TENAA listing which practically outed some of its key specifications. Accordingly, the phone will feature a 6.63-inch IPS LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio.
For its optics, the phone is also confirmed to feature a 16MP front-facing snapper which is set to be housed in a motorized pop-up camera mechanism. On its rear, a triple-camera setup is slated to be placed, one that comprises of 48MP (Sony IMX600y) + 8MP + 2MP sensors.
In terms of power and storage, the Honor X10 is also slated to arrive in the Chinese market with 4GB/6GB/8GB of RAM editions, with storage choices ranging from 64GB to 256GB. The phone is also going to be listed with 4,200mAh battery, with possible support for 22.5W fast wired charging.
The Honor X10 may arrive with a starting price tag of CNY 1,799.
