Fans started a Drew Barrymore versus Jennifer Aniston trend on Twitter. As these two are often paired to Adam Sandler, one fan suggested the actor and Brad Pitt’s ex-wife made a better movie couple.
Of course, Drew Barrymore fans didn’t agree. For them, the best movie couple is Drew and Adam Sandler and not Jennifer Aniston.
The perfect pair for Adam Sandler
Everything started when a fan began asking the Twitter world to name a better duo in the movie more than Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston, Us Weekly noted.
“Wait is Drew Barrymore trending because someone said that Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston are a better duo????” another fan responded. “THE AUDACITY. This pair is OG and cute AF.”
Someone also said that the 53-year-old actor didn’t do 50 Firs Dates just to be disrespected. A different fan added that Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore were like “peas and carrots.”
“Adam Sandler is best with Drew Barrymore; everyone knows this,” a different follower continued. “I’m so glad that Drew Barrymore isn’t trending for the myriad of reasons I could have imagined she was trending.”

Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler did Just Go with It in 2011 and worked together again for Netflix’s Murder Mystery last year.
In their appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live in June 2019, Adam Sandler and the Friends alum revealed that they had been friends for a long time. They first met at Jerry’s Deli in Studio City, California, even before they became famous.
According to Entertainment Weekly, she even gave him a shout out when she won an award for The Morning Show at the SAG Awards in January. Sadly, the singer-songwriter missed out on an Oscar nomination for Uncut Gems at the time.
“Adam Sandler, your performance was extraordinary, and your magic is real, buddy, I love you,” Jennifer Aniston said. “I love this man so much, and I have always believed in him.”
Adam and Drew’s time together
However, Adam Sandler was first paired with Drew Barrymore in 1998 for the hit movie, The Wedding Singer. They were once again reunited in 2004 for the film 50 First Dates. In 2014, they did Blended.
When the 45-year-old actress presented the Grown Ups star with the Best Actor award at the National Board of Review Annual Awards Gala, they both got emotional, Today reported.
“This moment, honestly, couldn’t be more deserved. I know that everyone is rooting for you because you have earned everyone’s respect.” Drew Barrymore said. “You deserve the best, you give the best, and you are the best. I love you very much.”
Adam Sandler embraced Drew Barrymore and then told her everything she said was amazing. “You just winged it, and I know you thought about it, but you were so cool,” he said, choking up. “I’m glad we met, and I’m glad we did it all, and we always make our movies together.”
