Sony just wrapped up The Future of Gaming conference, and there’s a lot to take in including the reveal of the PlayStation 5. Of course, the highlight of the show has to be the PS5 games, which are set to kickstart the next generation of gaming.

There are over 15 PS5 games revealed at The Future of Gaming conference. The summary is that players have a lot to look forward to when the next generation arrives, but exactly what games are on the wishlists of many?

‘Spider-Man: Miles Morales’

Insomniac’s Spider-Man was not only one of the best superhero games ever made, but it was also one of the best games on the PlayStation 4. It should not be surprising to hear that fans are ecstatic upon the announcement of a sequel during The Future of Gaming conference.

The next game will feature Miles Morales as the main protagonist. Those who played the first game know that by the end of Spider-Man, Miles begins discovering his powers. It will be exciting to see how different he plays from Peter Parker.

‘Resident Evil 8’

It was very surprising to see Capcom announce Resident Evil 8 as one of the PS5 games. It’s surprising as it was only months ago that the rumors about the game began circulating. Alas, Capcom rose to the occasion and came to the event with a cinematic trailer.

True to the rumors, Resident Evil 8 could be the franchise’s biggest step away from what it was used to. There were a lot of themes revealed in the trailer, but perhaps what’s interesting is that it teases the end of Chris Redfield’s story.

‘Horizon Zero Dawn: Forbidden West’

The original Horizon Zero Dawn is considered as one of the best PS4 exclusives. It ended on a cliffhanger, but fans of the game are going to get answers on the PS5.

Horizon Zero Dawn: Forbidden West is a direct sequel to the original. In it, Alloy travels to a new land to save the populace. While there, she’ll be facing threats she has never seen before.

‘Demon’s Souls’

Demon’s Souls is the godfather of all Souls-like games. However, it was limited to Japan when it launched. The good news is that those who missed out the first time around have the chance to enjoy this hardcore game when it becomes remade for the PlayStation 5.

There are many other announced PS5 games at the event, but it’s these titles that have fans excited about Sony’s next generation of console.
