Boruto Chapter 47 won’t be coming until the third week of June. But there are already some details and predictions on the upcoming chapter.
Boruto fans are going to wait a little longer than usual to find out what happens next after the events from chapter 46.
But it doesn’t mean that they’re not going to look through the web for some spoilers and details especially after a cliffhanger ending.
So what’s coming next in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Chapter 47? Here are some of the details revealed so far.
When is chapter 47 going to be released?
As announced in Viz media website, chapter 47 is going to be released on Saturday, June 20. The raw scans will also be leaked online beforehand.
It may come out two to three days before the actual release date so fans can expect it to be around June 17 to 18.
Chapter 46 quick recap
Before diving into chapter 47 spoilers and predictions, here’s a quick recap of what happened in the previous chapter.
At the beginning of the chapter, Kashin Koji and Jigen are fighting. Jigen is the leader of Kara and the current host Isshiki Otsutsuki.
Meanwhile, Amado revealed the truth behind the Karma seal and it’s not good at all. It turns out that it’s a curse from Momoshiki and Boruto’s life is in danger.
Boruto could die if the curse isn’t stopped as the Karma is actually a data that can bring back Momoshiki. Once the data is fully extracted in Boruto’s body, Momoshiki will overwrite him.
Momoshiki gets to live with Boruto as the vessel. Naruto and Sasuke are stunned with the revelation. They ask what they can do to stop the curse. Amado informs them that it can only be ceased through killing Boruto.
Chapter 47 predictions
Naruto and Sasuke are obviously in a big dilemma. Naruto needs to save his son from Momoshiki. But how can he do it without killing him?
According to sources, Amado may have already researched the ways to kill the Otsutsuki. He did mention in the previous chapter that he will teach Naruto how to defeat Isshiki Otsutsuki.
He hasn’t detailed it yet but it may have something to do with using Boruto’s karma as a poison against Isshiki.

It may be the only way considering Boruto possesses the Karma of Momoshiki. And besides, Naruto and Sasuke may not be able to bring the enemy down despite being way more powerful than before.
And as to saving Boruto, Amado may be able to undo the Karma. Other speculation is that Kashin Koji and Jigen will still continue to fight.
And there’s a possibility that Kashin Koji’s backstory will be revealed while Jigen might let out a secret weapon that will let him win.
New information about the powers of Karma, Ten-Tails, Otsutsukis and their vessels may also be included in the next chapter.
