Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise will officially be released globally but exclusively on Nintendo Switch this July 10.
Rising Star Games has announced through its website that the follow-up to 2010’s original Deadly Premonition hit game will land on Nintendo’s family of Switch systems in less than three months.
For those looking to get their hands on the upcoming game come July, they can get it at retail for just under fifty bucks, or purchase it digitally by way of the Nintendo eShop.

Unique story set-up
According to the game publisher, Rising Star, Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise should bring some unorthodox storytelling by serving as both a proper sequel and a prequel as well.
Like its predecessor, the newest version will again center around a murder mystery, but with the usual dose of horror and an overall atmosphere of surreal dread, with a new time-shuffling twist, of course.
Players can follow Agent Jones and Agent Davis as they investigate a series of murders happening in the fictional town of Le Carre in Boston.
But they can also travel a decade and a half in the past via the memories of FBI special agent York from the original Deadly Premonition game, as noted by the official Twitter page of Nintendo in America.

Mixing the old with the new
Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise will stay true to the original version’s open-world environment, wherein players can freely explore the town of Le Carre either on foot or using a skateboard.
Fans will also be treated to several mini-games within the game, including Bayou Ride, Bowling, and Skateboard Challenge, among many others.
For those who want to infuse game characters with their own personality, they will be able to customize and even get enhancements for their skateboard, like increased speed and access to harder tricks.
Also coming to Switch soon
Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise is not the only game coming to the Nintendo Switch platform this year.
Undead third-person shooter World War Z is also heading to Switch although no release date has been announced yet.
Virtuos Games has also hinted lately that it will be bringing The Outer Worlds to Switch, as well as Fallout: New Vegas via a partnership with Obsidian Entertainment.
