On May 31, Michael Capone, EXANTE’s leading strategist, took part in Moscow’s seventh annual Russian Hedge Fund Industry Awards.
In partnership with the National Association of Alternative Investment Market Participants (NAIMA), The Moscow Hedge Fund Managers Club (MHFMC) annually awards managers and consultants of various Russian hedge funds. Bloomberg and EXANTE were the leading sponsors of this year’s event.
The jury awards funds that have been on the market for at least a year, and have Russian investment teams as consultants.
The winners’ selection was based on financial data for the year of 2020. The data was collected and analysed by MHFMC and NAIMA representatives.
The categories of the awards were as follows:
- Best Equity Fund (Global)
- Best Derivatives Fund
- Best Fixed-Income Fund
- Best Multi-Asset Fund (Global)
- Best Long-Only Equity Fund (Russia)
- Best Long-Short Equity Fund (Russia)
- Best Multi-Asset Fund (Russia)
- Best 3-Year Annualized Return
- Best 3-Year Sharpe Ratio
Separate nominations also included Rising Star of the Year and Best Service Provider for the hedge fund industry.
