The Firework singer, Katy Perry is having an emotional setback in her pregnancy while on lockdown.
She admits that she locks herself in her car just to let her tears flow.Like many other celebrities in quarantine, Katy Perry has shared the emotional dealings of her pregnancy while on lockdown.
It appears that the singer and American Idol judge tries to take her pregnancy one day at a time. According to the singer,
“I cry. I have put myself in my car outside my house and locked the doors.”
The singer further explained that she needed her space which she gets by sitting alone in her car. Also, she goes out to her car without Bloom knowing that she’s inside crying.

Katy and Orlando Bloom are awaiting the birth of their first child. The couple is currently self-isolating in their mansion in California.
Even though the pregnancy might be a celebration, Katy appears to be overwhelmed by it, including the effect of lockdown. The singer also shares her days of cravings.

Katy asserted that she weighs her cravings and the safety of her baby and herself if she goes out to get what she craves for. She said,
“Everyone talks about cravings when you’re pregnant and for me, I think about cravings but I also think about ‘do I want to risk my life getting that craving?’
Perry revealed that she craves spicy foods, and in particular, Indian food. Despite food being spicy, there’s no backing down on it.
On a side note, the couple got engaged early this year during Valentine’s day. However, Katy admits she needs to make time for herself as well.

The coronavirus pandemic does not only threatened the physical health but also the mental health of those who are in lockdown. She shared that she has been dealing with the fear of getting infected with the virus. At the same time, she is also dealing with coping up with the new norm.

“Sometimes i don’t know what’s worse trying to avoid the virus or the waves of depression that come with this new norm.”
Aside from the lockdown, Katy also asserted that her pregnancy is challenging as ever. The couple broke the news to the public in March this year.
