I restarted my Bitcoin full node yesterday after a cable repair outside my house. I’m using the latest version of the Bitcoin software (master branch) which has the -netinfo
rpc option (new!).
This gives me (among other things) for total (inbound + outbound) number of connections:
ipv4: 64 (59 in + 5 out)
ipv6: 0 (0 in + 0 out)
onion: 16 (11 in + 5 out)
Does anyone have any idea why I’m not getting ipv6 connections? I’m on a ipv4 address myself but as far as I know that shouldn’t matter. Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS
EDIT: cat /proc/sys/net/ipv6/conf/all/disable_ipv6
gives 0, so ipv6 is not disabled on my system.
