We Never See Nothing

I just wanted to ask about a potential upcoming financial crash. I read that many people think a financial crash will make bitcoin price go up, and that thus bitcoin is an insurance against the crash.

However, I guess the opposite will hapen : nobody thinks clear in a crash, wouldn’t the biggest whales and buyer that make the btc price go up flee elsewhere ? And all except holders don’t care about btc anymore ?
