Datamine from Pokemon Home reveals 21 new moves coming to Sword and Shield. The info was leaked after the mobile app was updated last May 22.

Pokemon Sword and Shield dataminers have successfully done their job.

After looking through the recent Pokemon Home update, they have found new data not revealed officially by the game’s developers yet.

Update reveals leaks

In Pokemon Home’s update 1.1.0, 21 new moves were found in unused folders that have not yet published in either Home or Sword and Shield.

Only one move was familiar in the list – Jungle Healing. This was the signature move for the new Mythical Pokemon Zarude which is supposed to be released in the upcoming DLC this June.

While every other move in the list has never been heard before, there are several moves that can be broken down in context based on the future Expansion Pass.

List of new moves

This is the list of the new Pokemon moves based on the datamine:

  • Expanding Force
  • Steel Roller
  • Scale Shot
  • Meteor Beam
  • Shell Side Arm
  • Misty Explosion
  • Grassy Glide
  • Rising Voltage
  • Terrain Pulse
  • Skitter Smack
  • Burning Jealousy
  • Lash Out
  • Poltergeist
  • Corrosive Gas
  • Coaching
  • Flip Turn
  • Triple Axel
  • Dual Wingbeat
  • Scorching Sands
  • Jungle Healing
  • Wicked Blow
  • Surging Strikes

Urshifu’s moves

The moves Surging Strikes and Jungle Healing seem to belong to one of the various types of Urshifu. It looks like it will be Urshifu’s signature move for his Rapid Strike Style form which was described in the trailer as a “flurry of rapid strikes”.

If this is the case, then Wicked Blow will most likely belong to Urshifu’s Single Strike Style form. Aside from this, Coaching also looks like a move Kubfu can learn since the Pokemon is based on development and power.

Moves for unrevealed Pokemon

As for the other attacks, some sound like ultimate move for Pokemon that has yet to be released. Some of them can even be part of Terrain altering moves and could possibly give players new kinds of gameplay when in battles.

The only other move which can be pinned to a Pokemon is Shell Slide Arm. The move looks like it could potentially be a new special move for a water Pokemon with a shell.

This could be a move for the Galarian forms of Slowpoke which has not been revealed yet. The first installment of the Pokemon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass called Isle of Armor will be released before the end of June.
