SEAL Team is returning to the small screen for more with season 4 and Cerberus is going to be in the spotlight in one of the episodes.
SEAL Team season 3 may have ended abruptly but fans have nothing to worry about. The drama following the elite unit of Navy SEALs will continue on to a fourth season.
The show was unable to end its third season as originally planned due to the shutdown of productions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
It left the producers with no choice but to close it without a proper ending instead of completing with limited sources.
But they are ahead of their plans and they are going to carry the storyline forward to season 4. CBS has already renewed the series AJ Buckley, who plays the character, Sonny, confirmed the return on his social media accounts.

When is SEAL Team season 4 airing?
The question left unanswered now is when the military action drama will be premiering its fourth season.
According to reports, there is no announcement yet regarding the return of season 4. But still, due to the pandemic, it’s expected to be delayed.
It’s possible that it will not be returning until sometime next year unless things are sorted out and they are able to return to production. The series still has at least two more episodes of season three to be filmed.
The show’s official writers’ room has also returned to work on the upcoming season. Albeit virtually, this means that they are on the process of putting things together soon.
What to expect next season?
As mentioned earlier, season 4 will be carrying over the story that was unfinished in season 3. The first two episodes will most likely wrap up everything that happened in the unofficial season finale.
Moreover, reports reveal that there’s going to be a big focus on Cerberus the dog. This was supposed to be part of the last installment but now it’s going to be the welcoming episode for season 4.
David Boreanaz, who plays Jason Hayes, teased that there’s going to be an episode surrounding him and his emotional tie with the dog.
It’s been said that fans should not expect a surprise plot twist with the canine’s future in the show. They have been laying the groundwork for something when it comes to Cerberus.
It can be recalled that Cerberus made a bad call earlier in the season and as everyone knows, it’s going to reflect Jason’s career. What will Cerberus’ future be?
Fans will have to stay tuned for SEAL Team season 4.
